Student Participation

Students and parents both need to complete their portion of the Athletic Participation Registration process within Skyward (which includes the Concussion and Head Injury Release Form) and have a physical completed by a licensed physician on file with the Athletic Department before students may participate in tryouts, practices, and/or competitions. Physical exams must be dated AFTER April 1 for the upcoming school year (e.g., no earlier than April 1, 2026, for the 2026–27 school year). 

Submitting Physicals

Starting April 1, all student physicals must be uploaded by parents to the Bound app/website in order for students to participate in the upcoming or current school year. Physicals will no longer be turned into the school in person or online.

Physical Instructions

1. You only need to upload page 4 to Bound.
2. Please make sure all information is completed and the physical is signed by BOTH a doctor and parent/guardian.

Bound Instructions

1. Visit gobound.com.
2. Login or create an account.
3. Select State, then select Kansas.
4. Select Schools at the top, choose Monticello Trails, select Home.
5. Select Registration and Activities.
6. Select Go to Family Dashboard.
7. Register for all activities for the upcoming school year.
   • Once you start registration, everything entered from 2025–26 should copy over.
   • To edit, select the arrow by your student's name.
8. Reach out to the MTMS office or Bound with questions.
